🇷🇸 Work In Serbia•🌍 International Workers•📋 Visa Guidance•💼 Employer Matching

Work In Serbia is a digital marketplace and service provider. We are not an employment agency. Hiring decisions and visa approvals are made solely by employers and state authorities. It is intended for comprehensive support during your stay and work in Serbia under a Type D visa.

For employers

Help for companies

A practical guide to registration, verification, job listings, applicant review, and settings.

What employers use the platform for

Work In Serbia lets you publish job openings, receive applications from candidates, and follow structured steps that include contract and visa-related stages where applicable.

Your hub is the company dashboard, where you manage listings and review applicants in one place.

1. Company registration

Use company registration (not the worker sign-up). The wizard has four steps:

  • Representative — your name, email, phone, and position.
  • Company — legal name, address, description, and optional website.
  • Business details — tax number (PIB), registration number, company size, industry, and whether you operate as a recruitment agency.
  • Security — password and confirmation; required GDPR consent to create the account.

If you are hiring for your own team, register as a company. Worker accounts use a separate registration flow.

2. Signing in and password

Sign in with the email and password you chose at registration.

If you forgot your password, request a reset link and set a new password from the email.

  • Forgot password

3. Before you can publish jobs

Posting jobs requires both of the following:

  1. Email verified — confirm the link sent to your inbox.
  2. Company verified by an administrator — we review your business details after registration.

If your company account is suspended, you cannot post jobs until the matter is resolved with support.

4. Company dashboard (main areas)

After login, open your dashboard from the menu. The paths below are relative (your browser adds the language segment automatically — for example Serbian often uses /rs/ in the URL).

  • Overview/dashboard/company
  • Job postings/dashboard/company/jobs
  • New job posting/dashboard/company/jobs/new
  • Applications/dashboard/company/applications
  • Settings/dashboard/company/settings

You must be logged in as a company user to open these pages.

5. Job postings

When creating or editing an opening, keep in mind:

  • Title, description, and company reference are required.
  • Plain text in the description must be between 50 and 5,000 characters (HTML tags are not counted as text).
  • You can save drafts and change visibility (for example active or paused) where the interface allows it.
  • The platform is aimed at hiring international workers—roles where foreign labour is needed and a work permit or visa process usually applies.

6. Applications and choosing a candidate

Below is the usual flow: what you see, what you receive, and what happens after you decide on a candidate.

  1. When someone applies to your job, you usually get an email alert and the application appears under Applications.
  2. Open the application to review the candidate’s profile, any documents they have submitted, and the progress tracker (for example profile → documents → verification → contract → visa → completed — depending on the case).
  3. You move the hiring status: pending → under review → approved or rejected. The candidate is normally emailed when the status changes.
  4. When you approve a candidate, later steps (paperwork, contract, work permit / visa) continue through the platform and the wider process — keep following the same application for updates that concern you.
  5. If you reject a candidate, the process stops on your side for that application; the candidate is informed.
  6. If the candidate withdraws, the application may show as withdrawn and no further action is required from you.

Law office and formal steps

Legal questions and formal procedures (work permits, contracts, and similar) are coordinated as needed with the partner law firm together with the platform. Use the communication channels indicated on the platform so the team and the law office stay aligned.

7. Company settings

Under Settings you can update company profile details and change your password. After a password change you may need to sign in again so all features that rely on a fresh session continue to work.

8. Public pages

These pages are available without logging in:

  • Browse public job listings
  • Contact page
  • For companies (overview)
